CGMINER BFL Single and raspberry pi problems

Hello everyone, im currently using a raspberry pi to run the miner (cgminer) and a single connected to it.
When i run the miner i keep getting this error, i was wondering if anyone had rang into this.

rpi is notorious for lousy usb. Get a powered usb hub for it.

Developer/maintainer for cgminer, ckpool/ckproxy, and the -ck kernel
