Test ASIC's on Terracoin?

I for one would be very interested to see ASICS tested on Terracoin. It would drive the difficulty up like crazy (but thats inevitable) but because of the 2 minute block interval the Difficulty would settle again after a MUCH MUCH shorter time then Bitcoin.

Seems like kind of a waste of the hashes at this point. Perhaps after bitcoin difficulty sky rockets from the ASIC assault.

It would be interesting to see if the ASIC miners would work on TRC mining.  But in the end why would you use an ASIC to mine TRC instead of on BTC's and make money?

ASICs will work on both PPC and TRC, as they use the same algorithm (2x rounds of SHA256) as bitcoin.

Only an idiot would waste valuable time at the ASIC release mining these other coins. Every day will be hugely important for maximum high returns before the hash rate truly skyrockets and profitability falls back inline to the norm.

Yes the idea was for someone to do it period. I never really said exactly when.
