When I start CGMiner on my Raspberry Pi, it does not detect the Antminer U2, even though it is plugged in.

I have to unplug it and plug it back in while CGMiner is open for it to pick it up.

Code:
[2015-10-28 23:47:36] Hotplug: Bitmain added AMU 0

Any ideas?

I'm powering the Pi with an Apple iPad charger. 5.1V, 12W and 2.1A.

Once CGMiner has picked up the Antminer, it works fine. It just doesn't pick it up at first.

I need to do this without a powered USB hub.

Thanks.
