Yo, I might have found the wrong thread good point.  Yes, it would be a fairly simple rate nothing outta the ordinary. ( need to see what the going rate is really ) .  When you say offer your vote how do you mean ?

No it is a service where the people who say they will upvote will get paid in bitcoin ( bits ).  I'll be the service that people can buy from.

sounds like the 'reputation buying' services that are already available for:
ebay,
bitcoin lending website
bitcoin trade forum

once things like this start up. it ruins real trust/rep. and ruins the whole point of why the vote system even exists

I never got this reddit thing. I tried registering and being active there but my brain just never wanted to get used to that layout, constant moving of posts, upvoting and downvoting, etc.

After some time, I just gave up. I don't understand how people can spend so much time over there. Maybe that's just me, but hey..

I don't like it either but it is an easy way to get attention to your website if done correctly. It is just another article sharing site to me like digg was.
