How many times would I tell you guys that it is Wei Li and not Willy since it is Chinese? Well since most volume comes from China, there is a possibility that there is something happening in there that we don't know. Roll Eyes

Huobi and OkCoin having their own bot?

I personally don't think so , I mean yes there is manipulation from the exchanges (most or all of thme) but not that big .
both exchanges you mentioned have a lot of trading volume daily because most of the mining farms are in China & same goes with Bitcoin investors , so I wouldn't be surprised .

For the last fucking time:

THERE. ARE. BOTS. EVERYWHERE.

People make their own trading bots. Bots made bubbles. The bots pushed the price down all the way from the ATH. Bots kept us in our year long $200-$300 range.

People use bots to trade.
People control them to control the market. In ANY market. There is bot manipulation everywhere. wake up. If you aren't a whale with a bot, you just go with the flow of the market and try not to get rekt.

They've got bots up the arsenal and a former okcoin employee admitted to some shenanigans during the Roger ver strife. However if they did drive a monster bubble I don't think their government is going to cut them any slack next time around. The geezer out of huobi said he'd end up in jail if there was another major bubble.

Wasn't the Willybot so successful because it used funds for trading that were not really there? So pure manipulation?

Normal trading bots, backed by real bitcoins and money cannot do what Willy did. It will be punished by the other traders relentlessly

Exactly.

I have my own bots! I am a developer.

The point is, the Willy bot had no funds. It was all fake. That is what I am asking about these two exchanges.

Huobi and OkCoin having their own bot?

Sure. They must have their own bots. Their objective is to buy low and sell high to make money like any other trading bot. These bots can create small bubbles, nothing compared to THE willy bot.

It' not driven by bots, but by ponzis. There seem to be several MMM clones operating in China.
As to how high this can go, my guess is price will climb until the Chinese authorities will close them.
Remember what happened with LTC and a ponzi, price rose from 1.5$ to 9$, then crashed fast and hard,
probably a similar pattern will emerge for BTC over the next months, so don't get bull trapped...
And if you're ready for the ride, try to make a buck at the expense of greater fools...

Sometimes, if it looks too bullish, it's actually bearish

Honestly there are too many theories that people are just throwing at each other. Who the hell knows what's happening and what's at the bottom of all this. It might be just a growth and price recovery with the trend reversal or might as well be another willy the bot.

Screw it, let's just relax and enjoy the ride!

Yes, the funds are not there afaik too and what happened was pure manipulation from that bot. Willy or not, there are bots everywhere in the trading scene. It's just that these bots aren't that ambitious like Willy to stress the market and push it hard upwards.
