I have a client in Japan who needs to send me some funds and unfortunately PayPal is not the right choice. Where can he buy Bitcoins?

Depending on the amount your client could use mtgox.com the site is based in japan. I understand that do to some issues with the way wire transfers work in japan he will need to send an email ahead to arrange details before doing a wire transfer.

I mean the only thing they have is PayPal. They don't have a US bank account etc...
