Just don't use coinbase. Use blockchain.info and localbitcoins to stay on the down low with your gambling.

Aha, I guess this is why my coinbase account was closed today. I didn't even know what I do with my bitcoins purchases got anything to do with them. Wow, Durex threatens to stop selling me condoms too if I continue laying random single one night stands.
I have dozens of transactions to and fro a variety of gambling sites each day, didn't even expect a coin seller to meddle into what I do with coins i bought. No emails, no warnings, just sudden closure.
I'm disappointed by coinbase's decisions and actions but hey, it's their lost not mine. I hope they maintain this dumb rule, many other sites are doing what they do, buying and selling btc, many more are trying to compete for a market share in this area. They'll get squeezed out of business when another capable btc trader comes along....I hope to see it happening soon:)

maybe your account considered spam, try to send emails to the admin and say that it was a mistake, maybe it will fix the accounts that you have on coinbase

I'm now using CoinHako.com to buy my btc, just as quick for transactions to go through. Usually takes just a few minutes for my purchases to show up in my wallet and ready for use. I'm loving what I have right now, ain't going back to some coin seller that are too nosey. Hey, have we forgotten bitcoins was built to be a decentralised, peer to peer digital currency? I don't need some company meddling into my business. period

What other sites can I use that are easy as coinbase? I could sell a bitcoin one day and the money would be in my bank account the next day with very low fees, less than 1%.
Thanks
blockchain, green address, bitgo, coinkite and xapo. A full list cna be found here: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-walletIf you are worried about website blocking you from access, use a desktop or hardware wallet.

MoneyPot actually has a service specifically designed for this that makes it completely safe to send bitcoins from coinbase. It's significantly better than trying to send to an intermediate wallet, or anything of the sorts. And unlike a traditional mixer, leaves no evidence of mixing. Unfortunately I haven't yet solved the problem of how to (safely) send coins to coinbase, although I do have some ideas (but they'll leave traces that the coins were mixed)

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Moneypot uses a mixer upon withdraw as a feature that helps bs like this.
nice idea of using a mixer but isnt it that withdrawing funds from a gambling site have withdrawal fee? then another fee for using a mixer? that's a lot of fees to pay before funds reach the wallet Thats lots of fees, yes. But I would rather pay more fees than getting my coinbase account closed maybe your account considered spam, try to send emails to the admin and say that it was a mistake, maybe it will fix the accounts that you have on coinbase
There is a discussion about a spam attack serveral months ago: https://community.coinbase.com/t/update-regarding-coinbase-spam-attack/2195But isnt the case if you are actually having transaction through your coinbase account.

I think the problem is your middle wallet. Coinbase tracked the coins going into your middle wallet and found they are sent from a gambling site. You could have used an exchange or a shared web wallet as the middle wallet. It would be more difficult to track your source of income.
For this purpose XAPO wallet should be fine because Xapo used different btc address for each transactions so no one can track coins coming from either same person or different. So you will be safe if they have such restrictions.

There was a news recently in some bitcoin blog I saw weeks ago that coinbase is shutting down all the unverified sources of transactions which are not registered with coinbase.Furthermore coinbase declares to have all the third parties registered with them so to avoid scam and make the transctions more secure.

I didn't even realize this kind of stuff was going on. I mean, I knew that I couldn't send bitcoin directly to certain addresses going to a gambling site but I didn't know they would follow the transactions thru the chain to determine where they came from!....Isn't that going just a little bit to far? That seriously starts to create a major fungibility issue in my mind.

This is one reason why I stopped using Coinbase and besides secondstrade does not recommend use of Coinbase to fund my bets with them. I still Have an account with them but I don't use it anymore.

Yes its pathetic, I opened a coinbase account havent funded yet because I know someone who got shutdown there for suspected gambling. Im gonna try and find a site that wont shut you down. Ive seen recommendations here but which is the best? And can someone guarantee that you wont be shut down there.

Switch to another exchange. Coinbase sucks and there really no reason to support them. Bitcoin is about freedom and coinbase is starting to do what banks and governments were doing with fiat all along.

Damn, that's pretty shitty.
Are there any advantages at all to using Coinbase over other wallets? And does anyone know of any other wallet services that have a policy against gambling transactions? I want to make sure I steer clear of them.

Really a lot of what's going on with Coinbase is mainly the US has said. We have no problems with people using Bit Coins as long as they have a way to track it. Find out whom it's from and whom it's being sent to. So I'm thinking if Coinbase plans on staying in business there now trying to do there due diligence and finding out where these transactions are coming from.
Which was the whole point of bit coin from the beginning is some anonymity. I really think it's a matter of time before the US shuts it's doors on Bit Coins, because we have people like Sheldon Anderson who really, really, really doesn't want his gambling money that should be spent in his casinos. Not at online outfits going overseas to someone else. Yet that's the feeling I have gotten from what I have read so far.
