What price should I buy at?

The price has been going up quite steadily the past few days. I want to buy around 3k of coin but I'm reluctant right now, because I predict a crash happening quite soon. Not really sure where I should enter at, I think after a price drop of $50 I'd be safe.

Ideally I'm trying to win at a January 14 scenario

it all depend on the type of investor it is. if you plan to hold your coins for the long term, then you can buy at this price easily. if you're only interested in short term profits, then i would say it's an okay moment to buy as the price has no clear up or downwards movement.

As said even buying at the price tag of $400 is a good buy. Profit is a sure one as the halving is a promised to take place within few months time.

Yes, you will be lucky if you bought bitcoins now no matter what the price is now running for it, just buy bitcoin as the future is coming with great profit of bitcoin for its holders. It will double up your  money.

You are right but I think the bitcoin will not go lower at this time of the year, maybe it even will not go lower this whole year.

if you wait for $50 for one bitcoin, then I say you will wait in a long long long term. maybe it's wise enough to buy at $300 or if you aren't bored to wait until the price $200, please. just do what you believe in.

if we bought before halving i think we will not lose opportunity to increase money and it's not mean you can't take a profit after halving if price rise much of course, bitcoin in the future will fly away on the sky.
