Just wondering if the pool is really working or am I just wasting money (and hash) trying to mine?  Nothing is updating, pool says blocks are being found, but nothing is confirming, everything before block 12270 was orphaned.  Again, should we be mining?

How is this still going?  ICO should have been cancelled with investments returned.  It's a failure.  They can't launch a working coin to their specifications how are they going to accomplish anything?  Yobit should refund all people and delist the coin immediately.

I know sometimes new coins have issues.  I think the DEVs really tried to resolve this one, but I tend to agree, the pool is hosed.  I can't get an answer if I'm spinning my wheels mining.  I think it's time to stick a fork in this one, it's done..

Are mountain climbers really clamoring for their own cryptocurrency?  If this is not just another outright scam, this coin is destined to be yet another failure.  If it's dev, highaltitude20322, is legitimate then apologies if I come off disrespectful as I appreciate honest devs even if their work is misguided.

I spent over 9000 hours in MS Paint creating this helpful diagram to illustrate why this project will never go anywhere.

Good morning everybody. Apologies for the delay.

I'm still talking with the pool operator to find out whats going on. I know this has been a miserable two days.

First priority is still getting the pool front end corrected and ensure that nobody has been wasting their hash. The pool operator has ensured me that the hashes are counting and that everybody will be credited. It's a display issue on the front end. I had hoped to update you guys sooner but we ran out of gas last night.

We also hope to have the block explorer ready tonight as well.

Would be nice, for all we know the pool operator is redirecting our hash somewhere else and lining his pockets!!  Pool showing a lot of orphans, and no confirmed coins.

No worries man Everybody has earned the right to be skeptical in this space.

If we're running a scam we're doing very very poorly at it lol.

We'll be the first to admit this is a niche of a niche type currency. We plan on supporting and following through with what we've laid out.

If we don't reach the Summit and nobody cares about the coin beyond us? It's okay. Like a lot of things in life it's about the journey. I have had to abandon climbs within site of the goal. It's about coming back and trying again and getting further the next time.

I've said a few times we're probably far too optimistic perhaps bordering on naive.

The team spoke last night and have decided regardless of the ICO outcome will we burn at minimum 50% of the development premine as a sign of good faith. (we'll still burn the % of the ico that doesn't see out of the dev premine as well)

It will be the first thing we do once the block explorer goes live.

See you at the Summit! (or back at base camp for some beers!)

You should take the 50% and serve it up to us who were supporting the coin and mining orphans!!

BTW the pool transaction history stopped working at block 12336.  So we really have no idea other than the pool operators word if we are really accumulating coins.

When I updated my wallet, I deleted everything but the wallet.dat file.  I didn't lose anything.

Appreciate the response and that you can take criticism without getting butthurt.  Most likely this isn't a scam as scammers tend to pitch ideas that have more universal appeal.

I will be staying at base camp with the beers and I fear you will freeze to death before you reach the summit, but as long as you are honest and undertaking the challenge for all the right reasons you are a-okay in my book.

I will pour a beer out in your honor when I receive word of your death.  Tongue
