Well this is a good strategy to minimize losses, Setting a limit to how much you are going to use in playing gambling.  I have read some guideline that one of the safe method in gambling considering your bankroll is to divide your bankroll to 100, it was stated that the good strategy is to bet 1% of your bankroll in every roll you have to make.  Another thing is play only with what you have.  Avoid borrowing money just to play gambling games, this will give you a headache if you lose in the game.
