Hello all,
I have been sat at my computer now since yesterday for about 15 hours searching for ways to buy Bitcoins!
The whole idea of Bitcoins gives us hope for the future and the world, after watching a lot of RT news, how the governments are screwing us and other countries, it's about time we had something like this. Even if this doesn't succeed in the end (which I doubt), something else will take its place and will conquer the banks etc we are part of a revolution! I am embracing that. The only problem is, I am finding it very difficult to buy any Bitcoins this weekend.

What I have tried:
mt.gox /LibertyReserve : can't figure out how to deposit without joining even more websites
BitMarket.eu : waiting to be verified through eBay account / this may take even more than 48 hours because of the surge
#bitcoin-otc- : nobody wants to trade at reasonable Paypal rates / untrustworthy many seem to have been bitten by frauds
Mining with guiminer : Not getting me very far very quick, unfortunately got a 9400GT which only manages 3.0 M/h

I realise this type of post is probably appearing here every hour or so but I hope some forum members can point me in the right direction for my circumstances:
Location: UK
Currency: GBP
Method: Paypal
I understand I can transfer with paypal into USD tho, if I am sent a request/bill (I think that's how it works on eBay)

Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and I guess I will be spending even more time here reading through the help topics.

If you don't own the private keys, you don't own the coins.

Hi there, this unfortunately takes time: Allow 3-5 working days for payments to pass through clearing.
As with other types of websites I have been searching through.

gusti: I will look into Western Union now. Looks like it will be possible.
