I saw that kind of gambling on movies where they are starting to bet their possessions (like watches, cars, houses, etc.). It is still gambling and I think that was already happening in ancient times. Also , as far as I know, there is already gambling before money was invented

Well, I think it isnt possiblt that gambling isn't introduced, basically because we humans consider yourself superiors and have a tendency that what we think is right, and when two such people meet, they make a gamble. But yeah fun would not be there as it is now had gambling not been introduced yet in the world.
