I think I can live with that. I know a lot of people that just gamble for a short period of their time, in fact they had more time celebrating their birthdays than gambling. Gambling might be a life to some of us but I don't think that it can be a part of us all of our time. If Gambling was not introduced, that will be obvious that people will have other things to be addicted to like drugs and cigarettes.

Not really because wether you want to acknowledge it or not, gambling is made so that people could make money from gambler. Owner make money from gambler and player tries to make  money as well. yes, you are right, this is a good solution for people which too often to play gambling and they don't socialize with other people. so they only thing about gambling in every day, maybe they need to build a new habit to prevent from thinking about gambling. and once we are addicted to gambling, then it will more difficult to get out from gambling itself.
