Hey,

Just got my first payout from slush's pool according to the email that I got but I am not seeing any activity in my account. It has been about 5-6 hours at this point and still no change in balance. Does slush's pool have a certain transfer time I should be waiting for, or am I missing a key piece of the puzzle here? Tongue

Note: Yes I did ensure the address on the payout screen is indeed one of my addresses.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Yes, 1 after that at this point. Oddly enough, as i checked this post, it appeared. Guess there was just massive delay or they preemptively sent the reward email.

Anyways, thanks Smiley.

Once you get the email, you can visit http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/ to check if it has been broadcasted. If it has, it is just a matter of time before it gets included in a block and displayed in your bitcoin client
