Hello forum!

I see many threads like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1233885.0;topicseen. Newbies, who are asking a enormous amount of money without colleteral. I suggest to disable the lending section for newbie ranks, because almost no newbie gets/repays a loan.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I don't find it reasonable to disable it completely because of several newbies who don't offer collateral. There are still newbies who are able to offer stable collateral for lending. Some newbies offer loans too with escrow.

Yes, some do but most do not. It is better to not disable ot for newbies, but then there should be some time limit so brand new account can not request any loan before being 24 hours online on bitcointalk.

Any moderator who can give me a reply and their opinion?

this has been discussed before and i remember one reason why this is not pushed is because some newbies come with collateral, they just dont want to expose the account they want to use as collateral

Thank you for the input, I did not think about that. And yes that is most likely why.
I will close the topic, issue solved Smiley
