Bet on Big Distractions is a new one to me. Seems like a good strategy.
I don't know about. It is not confirmed that is has much to do with team effectiveness. T
hen following this logic -  betting on Barcelona after that revelations about Messi's tax fraud would be a bad idea.
But I didn't see that problem interfere with his play at all.

Prior to the tip-off, TMZ and ESPN were reporting that Clipper’s holder Donald Sterling had made ethnically insensitive comments. At a point in the middle of the 2014 NBA playoffs, the LA Clippers were thought to beat the Warriors by 2 points. And although Clippers were favorites, they lost the match by 21 points. So it is wise to bet on big distractions. So I guess it could be sport specific...

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

When i bet, especially in football, id like to look at the head to head record of both teams before making a bet. Usually id go with a +2 handicap on the weaker team if they're kinda evenly matched for better odds. Sometimes i also go big or go home like when i bet on a -3 handicap on the Spain Lichtenstein game.  Grin

Below is a list of my thoughts on sports books
Some may feel that these are obvious.
All of this is just advice/suggestions on how to manage your gambling journey.

The following should be self-explanatory.

General Strategy

1: Shop around for the best value.

2: Work out a staking plan. General rule of thumb is 5% of bankroll (I use 3-5% and sometimes 8%)

3: Never, ever, chase!

4: Pay close attention to team news.

5: Stick to singles or doubles.

6: Choose which markets you bet on carefully.

7: In any given season you will have good spells and bad spells and you should not get carried away with either.

8: Stick to what you know and don't bet on leagues you haven't been following.

9: Keep records of all your bets.

10: Know when to cut your losses. (i.e. Don't go into debt)  *Dealing with a gambling problem? Learn the warning signs and how to get help.

I'm open to feedback... like/share/comment
Share your story  here guys!
What rules do you live by when gambling??

These are some fantastic guidelines to follow in betting. I can't stress enough how important it is to shop for different lines when sports betting. Always find the best possible value for the team you're betting on.this coupled with proper bankroll management, to me you're the most important parts of sports betting.

Yeah it is, but really what's the point of necroing an old post from 2015 that no one replies to? It's like you just remembered you had a thread like this and replied to it.
Though, it would be a good read for newbies, but generally a new topic would have been better and just linked this one on it.
