Actually it was at six miles or so. And if it was so prepared and set up don´t you think they´d have some better equipment than a phone ready? It could be the plane who knows and if it is it could be taken by any Mohamed around there. Most of mankind has camera phones these days.

But it´s a little too much of a coincidence that it went down right there. Also everybody, the Russians, U.S. intelligence director Crapper and the usual lesser lights are very eager to play down any terror angle. So, that smells funny.

I don't think Israeli army has anything to do with the crash. Actually I think no one from any officially organized army would purposely kill hundreds of innocent people. Only some insane terrorists could do this.

But it seems like some technical problems were the reason of this particular tragedy.

Now they are denying any IS involvement and few days ago they issued this warning.

The video can be discredited.  If someone really wanted to prove they downed the plane, they'd do something like show their ugly faces wrapped in rags, and a current newspaper to prove the time and date.

And it's 30,000 feet = six miles, not thirty miles.

Investigators have started examining the black boxes from the Russian Metrojet plane that crashed in the Sinai desert, as Egypt warned that there might be no quick resolution and dismissed as “propaganda” claims that Islamic State could have carried out an attack.

An international team including Egyptian, Russian and French experts were expected to conclude their investigations at the crash site and turn their focus to the flight recorder data.

The Airbus A321-200 was 23 minutes into its flight from the resort of Sharm el-Sheikh to St Petersburg when it crashed on Saturday, killing all 224 on board, mainly returning Russian holidaymakers.

Investigators are yet to officially release data or findings, but according to unverified reports from Russia, cockpit recordings reveal unusual sounds at the moment the plane went off the radar, but confirm there was no distress call from the pilots

No, the black boxes are very useful.  For example they may be given to different teams from different countries to examine.  Now if one country refuses to let others examine them, then you have a reason to start thinking conspiracy, duplicity, or misrepresenting the facts.

Not only terrorists. Governments frequently kill hundreds of innocent people and more. And then justify it saying they were terrorists, revolutionaries, the wrong targets, enemy combatants, etc. Sometimes that isn't done directly but with sanctions for example, or arming opposition forces and training them and preparing them for combat. Sometimes we don't even get to know about it for decades. I don't believe israel did it in this case. But states do it when they know they can get away with it.

IMO, this seems to be the most possible cause for the plane crash:

Ground staff at the Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, somehow managed to slip in an explosive device, and they placed it among the passengers' luggage in the Kogalymavia flight. The explosion occurred after one of the terrorists detonated the bomb, with the help of a remote control or a mobile phone. The local chapter of the ISIS (Ansar Bait al-Maqdis) is very powerful in Sinai, and their influence in Sharm El Sheikh is very obvious.

I agree that the Jews (and Israel) were unfairly blamed here. But at the same time, we should not forget that the ISIS is getting a lot of help from the Americans, Arabs and Israelis (either directly or indirectly). Israel has attacked the Syrian Army border posts and on multiple occasions have shot down Syrian aircraft, when the regime forces were fighting the Islamists.

Umm... I heard that the pilot of the plane had told the dispatcher that plane's having some technical problems as soon as they departured from the airport. He said they'll land on the next possible airport, just.. didn't succeed.
