Yes it's a great idea to show up how bitcoin is getting a real economy. I can't wait to see the Bitcoin Friday next year!

Agreed, I am very impressed with how it has gone so far (It's not over yet, a few hours to go!). If anything it is definitely spreading awareness of how much you can actually buy with bitcoins. The bitcoin marketplace is growing daily in my opinion. It's fantastic!

Ended up getting a pair of socks, some silver, and some casascius coins.  I really enjoyed it, now there's just a few outstanding questions I have:

1) how much of a swing did merchants see on Friday compared to regular volume?
2) Assuming merchants are planning on converting BTC to fiat, will that cause any swings on exchanges, or will it remain flat because of equal number of customers buying BTC to replenish what was spent?

I believe JonHolmquist was the driving force behind this last year. He would be the first person I would try to contact (which I may do if I can find the time to sit down in front of my computer for more than ten minutes in a row).

Still around.

Allthingsluxury.biz had huge success last bitcoin friday. We offered massive discounts and would definitely like to offer these discounts to the community once again this year.

I was checking out the website.  I'd like to see a few more expensive items including some diamonds and/or birth stones.  I'm looking for a birthstone option for my wife who is expecting in April.

If you want to reach out to me directly, that may be helpful, cuz I may purchase something on Bitcoin Friday, but didn't find anything yet when I was browsing.  We have a month if you are able to add any new products.
