Overview
(lol similar to a development thread in format, old habits right?)

Nice to meet everyone here.

I'm Quetra/Rooty, long-time mobile OS developer/programmer and occasional opportunist.

I'm selling a Macbook Pro 13.3 that has been upgraded from 4GB RAM to 16GB RAM.

I realize this is a new account so yes, I do accept Escrow.
I will always require Escrow from a trusted member no matter what; even if I am not currently one.

Condition

This PC has been barely used; the prior owner did not really understand how to use OS X.

Slight box damage, no visible damage on the actual Laptop inside of the box as far as I can see.

Everything functions.

I prefer to use Linux for development and like Desktop HW better, so I have no use for a thing like this myself.

Keyboard:

Screen:

There may be slight damage or a few scratches on the Laptop.

As far as I can tell it is in pristine condition and pretty much new.

I could not find any defects like this on the actual Laptop, just the box and a scuff-mark on the charger cord which is included.

Pricing

In the spirit of not being ruthless: 2.0 BTC

PM me and we can work out a deal

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I might be interested but can you tell me something:
What is the model of this macbook and which year.
Is it retina display or just the default one, and where are you shipping from.

Just found this model in ebay and seems the price is somewhere near.
Btw i always expect cheaper price when paying with bitcoin.
At the moment i am looking for a 15" and retina display but if i can't find any will come back to you.
I wish you good luck with your sales.

Does it have the same amount of RAM? If so link me and I may be willing to go lower.

Edit: BTC has moved beyond being a predominantly criminal currency so the era of "If I pay with BTC I should pay less" really ended when it became very easy to convert BTC to physical currency.

Either way my price is still far reduced below the retail value of this; If I sold it on eBay it would be gone fast.

I'd rather just have coin.

Does it include shipping internationally or do I have to pay extra for worldwide shipping?

Depends where you are I guess; It's not worth it for me or you to pay a 25% fee for that I feel

Hey, great to see that you're willing to use an Escrow.
However, it's advisable that you add time stamped photos to your post. That way people know that it's your MacBook and not one taken from elsewhere online.
It's also easier if you integrate the photos into the thread by using the direct image link and correct parameters and then (without the spaces).

Thank you! very true; I will do one better and log into my account on the laptop-

I'll take some better pictures with a higher-quality camera later in the day too of the bottom of the unit
