This my new friends is the beginning of what many of us have already experienced a few times before:  a Bitcoin bubble!  I can assure you that you haven't even seen anything yet.  When people are saying "Strap in" they are serious.

It is the end of the bear market, at least for now. If it is a surprise for you, I think you must be new to bitcoin

In the past bubbles $100 rises in one day(or que equivalent given the past value) were common

(and right now the price is touching 360 and increasing)

In 2013 I remember going to bed and the next morning calculating how much money my husband and I made while sleeping!  Smiley  Those were the days.  It looks like we are back to that kind of fun again!  LOL

You only make money if you sell. So the question is will you and hubby sell some this time to lock in profits? If so at what level does the selling start? I myself only held through the prior runs to watch a large pile turn into a smaller pile. I believe it can go higher this time, but also want to balance that view with locking in some well needed gains.

The price just hit $350 in bitfinex exchange.
What is the reason behind the increased price?
Would be thankful if anybody can explain it to us.

bitcoin was undervalued for a long time, still is.

it's long overdue for a correction to the upside.

More buyers. Seriously, two of my old friends finally decided to buy a few (1-10) BTC this weekend just to shut me up constantly telling them about it Smiley
That, and i actually had to STAND IN LINE for the only operating BTM in the city today (Monday was payday here) - never saw anyone else touching it before, and now 2 guys putting in cash like crazy, and i had to wait lol.

These are genuine new adopters/buyers/speculators, alas what i have seen in the last week/month just in my area. The question is why now of a sudden?

ps.: some colleagues also started asking questions, i might check my national MSM, maybe there was some kind of documentary or TV show about BTC.

Well the price was really down for a long time.
But what is the real value of a single bitcoin.
Since the price is rising i don't know where it will stop.

This is true and false. Of course what you say is common sens BUT
If bitcoin get so big it become the new standard for money, then even if you never sell, you made money because bitcoin became THE money.

So this is true because you think fiat is money, which is true but some of us belive it won't last so much.

Every morning i compute how much i made or loss sleeping which i find fun Smiley

The cost of mediation increases transaction costs, limiting the
minimum practical transaction size and cutting off the possibility for small casual transactions

would you not keep a couple until 2025 to see if we go to the nebula ?

Simply astounding ... ! I'm a newb in crypto, and the only reason I can think of why this impressive surge in BTC-price is taking place, is that it is gaining real 'momentum' now. With momentum I mean the combination of recent good news and the rising price increases confidence of a lot of people, thus only accelerating this development.
