Lol why everybody is so pessimistic here ?
So many of you say bitcoin will never go higher then 2k$ or something ? So basicly most of you say Bitcoin will fail, right ? Then why are you wasting your time here ?
To be a real global currency Bitcoin has to grow at least to high 5 digits . For example, how you want to trade real estate with bitcoin with such a low market cap ?
95% of the people here don't know anything about how the market works. if the price goes up a few bucks people get excited and say the price will reach $1000 this year. and when the price goes down a few bucks people start to panic and think it will go to very low $300's. there are only a few members here that are realistic in their analysis. others are nothing more than a joke. |

Yes but even with that there is no way it will reach 200k. At best maybe 2k on a period of 2 years. For sure not anything bigger then that. |

For sure not anything bigger then that. i think it is really possible to reach such big numbers in the future because a lot of people will start buying bitcoins when they will see that people adopting it really fast i hope one day this price will be reached |

i must admit that the price is really promising at the moment though anything might happen in the future and we might even lose money so i doubt that it is really possible for the price to grow that much Price will not fall in next couple of months, it will continue to rise and its all halving effect that we have started to feel now, we can expect very good price at the time of halving. |

i must admit that the price is really promising at the moment though anything might happen in the future and we might even lose money so i doubt that it is really possible for the price to grow that much Take away $1000 and replace it with $700, and you have a far more likely estimate. If this increase is being caused from investment due to the halving, it speaks volumes about how investors believe the market is going to behave, and, albeit unlikely, $1000 may not be beyond reach. If we cross $600 before the halving (Two or three months ahead), then there might be a chance that w can get close to $1000. If we can't cross $600, though, it won't happen. |

We have to be realistic and that value is not realistic for Bitcoin itself, it will be of course perfect if it can reach that value but that will not happen soon and that is the problem. It will maybe only reach the $500 in the end of the year and we have to deal with it and that is all. |

I stated this too in my previous post back then. This is how people speculate what will be the price next day, next week, next month and in the following years. Price day to day movement as a basis for what price will be is technically not a factor to have a quite proper speculation of the price. |

If it will reach that high value than there will be a lot of people that is rich but that is only possible when the price is going to jump and that will not happens fast. The only thing that you must do is if you want to sell it with profit that you have to wait a long time until the value will be more. |

Why not? let's say there are 20 million bitcoins in existence in the future, every bitcoin is 200k, then the total market cap is 4 trillion (4000 billion), this may seem like a lot but it's actually quite modest for a global payment network system...  Maybe in far future something like this can happen. But in next 10, 20 years for sure no. We need to realize that bitcoin will have many more obstacles before it become global currency in real meaning of that word. We all see how bitcoin is growing and it's not smart to rush in things so early. 200 k for 1 BTC is just a dream for now, to make that dream come true we need to focus on 500 $ first, then 700 $, 900 $... with small steps we can go much further, smart and wise steps are much better then running. If we see bitcoin on 700 $ stabile before new year that will be big success for bitcoin and bitcoin community. |
