$2 is not really good payment for drawing that picture. I am member of deviantart and I am familiar with commission fees.
Drawing, simple coloring, no background is worth usually $20. I guess black and white picture is worth slightly less, but still around $10.

Here's what I came up with, I didn't use paper and a pen, I did everything on photoshop so hope this is close enough for you and I also added the two boxes as I was unsure of which you wanted to be in the picture

it needs to be drawn in black pen on paper, its a requirement

2$ is almost nothing for someone to draw on a picture for half an hour. Maybe you will get better quality drawing when you offer more.
BTW, why do you actually need the drawing? Is it for a competition?
