I appreciate the serious replies and honest responses.  Obviously this isn't going to happen but thanks anyway.

I know someone is awake and willing to do this.  I'll send you some lego sets as a bonus.  Unopened, retired lego sets.  I'll send you three.  USPS.   The MSRP on them is $20.   So that's an additional value to loaning me the btc.

You misread what I have posted.   I buy and sell legos on the side so I have plenty of them sitting around unopened.  I was saying I would pay back the loan on Monday with 12BTC and ship the lender three retired unopened lego sets  in addition to paying back 12BTC for a three day loan of 10BTC.

So the lender would receive 2BTC and free retired LEGO sets for a small, short term loan.  Here is one of my sale listings for Legos (with photo showing partial inventory).   http://www.bitcointrading.com/forum/toys-collectibles/%28wts%29-new-and-sealed-lego-sets-%28set-list-inside%29/

But go ahead and throw the scammer tag around.

All right, so the trust that you offer us comes from three sources: 1) have been a member here for almost a month, 2) completed a single trade with the webmaster of bitcointrading.com, and 3) are willing to identify yourself (I assume a scan of an ID or something).

Could you specify more precisely, why do you need this loan, i.e. what are the coins going to be used for?

Simply entertainment.   I'm not buying mining equipment, I'm not investing it in anything, I'm going to spend it.   I don't work on the weekend so I have free time now.  It is worth paying back 2BTC for the ability to have coins now instead of waiting.    It will also help build a reputation as an honest member of the forums here and anywhere else in the BTC community.  If someone lends me the coins on this deal the next time I need something I'll have a trade at bitcointrading.com and a successful loan here.  I have two jobs, one full time 8 to 5 (which pays the bills and important things) and a side job (that gives me pure spending money) and this loan is going to be repaid with money from the side job.

I would be happy with a 5BTC loan paid back 11/12/12 as 6.5 if anyone is willing to risk that over 10BTC.   Doing that would be less financial risk for the lender and less than half of what I'm positive I can pay back on the 12th.  This and it will still improve my reputation here.
