I am trying to use Bitcoin Core through the terminal. Testing out creating new address and receiving Bitcoin.

So far I have sent bitcoins three, and noon have been received.

The first two have red dot beside them.

The last one has a light grey dot.

What do these mean? The android wallet doesnt have a manual to explain hot to send bitcoins.

Now the grey dot has become a red shape. Like a 1/4 circle.

The light gray dot means the transaction was confirmed by broadcasting back from other peers, but not yet confirmed by the blockchain.

A red or green dot (or sections of it) means the transaction has been confirmed by the blockchain too.

Don't get confused about the color. Red only means you sent it. I guess we will change the color coding, it seems unexpected to many users to see a red color but everything is fine.
