The government could ban the BTC but, for real, they can't do it.
I mean, even that Bolivia banned it there still being some people using Bitcoins, not in everyday life but using in activities like education and gambling.
Banning bitcoin can prevent official ways of distribution, there won't be registered exchanges and other bitcoin services available. But that doesn't mean bitcoin will be shut down. On the contrary, bitcoin is good when operating in the grey area and banning it will hurt economy of country in the long run because of missed opportunity of tax btc companies. |

Some countries banned btc..but cant banned it at all..ehat i mean in here they still can use btc for online things like transfer,buy and sell a thing...they just got banned in real life..
So the point is they cant banned it at all..btc is growing in each country fast...so dont worry

As for me, I still cannot understand how they are going to ban Bitcoin. Who knows I am using it? Provider? No. The bank? No. What is the regulatory instrument for this?

No mate that's not possible, govt. will never support bitcoins and never allow bitcoin to get on the mainstream, that's true that its easy and convenient to use but different people thinks differently. |

Bitcoin banned by gov on that list country but it still many people on that country using bitcoin.
Whatever you do to ban bitcoin, bitcoin never die.
True but if governments declare that using bitcoins is illegal in a nation then it becomes hard for people to accept/spend/trade it easily and thus the adoption will be less in those countries. |

Hi, I am a fiction writer doing a story on the darknet/undernet and services paid for using bitcoins. Could you please take a few moment to help me understand a few things. I gather activity on the undernet is virtually untraceable, not impossible, but virtually so if using i2p and a VPN. Is it the same for use of bitcoins when you buy goods or services through the undernet using bitcoins - are they less traceable than a credit card, for example? Thanks for any information you can offer.  |

different countries have different rules and regulation about bitcoin. some countries have no statement about bitcoin. yet they have no policy about bitcoin. for example in Pakistan. the Govt of Pakistan has yet given no statement about Bitcoin. therefore no one can say that either it is legal or illegal there in Pakistan.

Being banned is doesn't mean you can't buy, sell or save bitcoin.
It's just a rule from some country that you can't make a real transactions and use bitcoin as payment.

It is traceable in that miners (the ledger keepers) know the quantity of bitcoins that went from one bitcoin wallet to the other, but they do not know who owns the wallet. It is difficult finding the owner of a wallet so it's more anonymous than a credit card. |

and if a country has yet given no statement about bitcoin. they have yet not diclear it legal or illegal then what will be the situation there. either the people are allowed to continue trading and earning bitcoin or not. |

that is not the situation of your country but it is the situation of so many countries. but i think a time will come when all the countries of the world will admit and legalize bitcoin. and then there will be so many shops and shopping center where people will use bitcoin as a legal currencies in shops and other places. |

No mate that's not possible, govt. will never support bitcoins and never allow bitcoin to get on the mainstream, that's true that its easy and convenient to use but different people thinks differently. but i think it will take a little more time to change the mindset of the people. when the people know about the importance of bitocin defiantly they will compel the government to legalize bitcoin in their country and accept is as a stage currency. |

no I am not agree with you. banned mean that no one allowed to operate that thing. for example if gambling is bane in your country then still you can keep it continue. not it will be against the rules and regulation of the country. |
