Problems with Kraken the last three days. Just when you want to be buying or selling.
I'm not talking about slow transactions. Today it's not even logging in.

I'm done with Kraken. Bullshit website.

You know, instead of creating a thread here just cause you happen to have a problem with the site currently, you can just go to their actual service announcement thread and write your concerns there.

You may even get some help from the support staff of the site there, here it's just doing nothing.

Here is a link to their thread since you are that lazy that you couldn't even google it yourself.

You know, instead of taking the opportunity to be really mean to a stranger online, you could have some manners. Thanks for the link, but there really was no need to be so rude.

I have sold a little amount on Kraken last night. I logged in without any problems, sold, withdrew SEPA and everything worked flawlessly like usual with Kraken.

Maybe the problem is on your side. Have you tried clearing your cache, using different browser or even maybe using a different machine?

I logged in too about 4 hours back. Right now out, will test and see if it allows me to login. I doubt they will have problems because trading is when they make so much money, so why keep people out.

Hi Mickey. Yeah I tried different browsers etc. Glad you're not having problems. I've been having problems with Kraken since yesterday. They claimed there was a DDoS attack yesterday, and today it's a more vague apology about "connection issues".

"really mean?"

Have you been on the internet long?  Wink

Fair point. I need to grow a thicker skin. Yadda yadda. I'm having a bad day. My point still stands. I really dislike when people use any opportunity to be a dick to a stranger online. It's so pointless.

I wasn't trying to be mean. Just getting annoyed of new accounts spreading FUD over the whole forum just cause they happen to have some problems with a site currently and trying to put their name to the ground.

I've never had any trouble with kraken in the last 3 years I've been using them. Just cause they are having some issues currently, like it says in their thread: they had received a DDoS attack recently and I'm certain it's the same issues again hence why it's down. So it would be in the best interest for everyone if you contacted them there or through reddit or their actualy support page, than creating a thread about it here, it's not going to be of more help to you.

they said it's just ddos, this it's not an excuse, because i'm also losing the opportunity to buy, but at least they aren't running with our money

i would wait at this point, or just have a back up exchange would be good in this case

Yeah I'm looking into alternatives at the moment. I think I'll move away from Kraken completely when I can. The site works fine when there's nothing happening, but it's days like today when customers need it most.

It's nothing to do with Bitcoin itself. Not "FUD". I'm happy to let people know there's problems with Kraken.

Kraken was a pain in the ass for a lot of people. A lot of people reported their addresses not being confirmed ever (as if their street didn't exist). They just got tired and abandoned their accounts. I mean what kind of service would make you lose so much money over stupid verifications? It's not worth it, just keep holding, exchanges are shit.

Well I guess I was just lucky then yesterday, since I see that quite a few people have problems today and they had them yesterday. Hope you will sort out your problems!

Cheers!

I got the same man. Had to wait an hour for logging in. But i understand the website security goes first.

Same old story...

When price is high and you want to sell, then all of a sudden a "DDOS attack"... That's what everybody says... 2-3 more exchanges had the same "DDOS attack" 2 nights ago...
