Need help regarding my tennis bet?

Guys today i placed one bet on tennis match Nishikori vs Gascuet...I placed Gascuet  (+1.5 sets ) which means i will win win the bet if Gascuet just win 1 set..Now during the match Gascuet won the first set and was going to win second set too but Nishikori retired in 2nd set and now my bet is saying "Cancelled".
I want to ask why? if some player retires then that player is considered loser.right?
I placed my bet on nitrogensports and facing this problem..On direct bet i placed a bet that Gascuet wins and won that bet already but on nitrogensports it's showing cancelled..can any one please explain?

You should read the terms and rules very clearly before using a site. Click the "tennis" section of https://nitrogensports.eu/n/rules and you should see the rule "When betting "Sets", if a match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all wagers will be cancelled and funds returned."

That's a shitty rule..Gascuet already won the first set and even if nishikori won the other 2 sets then also my bet was a win.
That's surprising that ML bets are settled even when a player retires but not Sets betting.
