Really, dude, when is it that you gonna stop trying to link every alleged murderer with bitcoin when no such connection exists or was ever hinted? What's your agenda?

Wow I did not know that McAfee Antivirus is named after real person John McAfee. I thought it is named after McCofee or something that!
The website in question might not be Silk Road forums. At least I don't remember thread about "bath salt" purification. So if it is not darknet forum then nothing suggests as him being a early Bitcoin adopter.
It is no surprise that IT nerds can kill someone IRL. Hans Reiser also killed his mail-order wife. They are really nasty and have shorter warranties than recertified harddrives.

Oh good, psy is here to troll.
psy, if you read my post again, perhaps run it through Google Translate this time, you can see that I didn't connect him to Bitcoin. I asked a question. I can ask interesting questions here. Because it's a web forum, not a fucking press release.
Once again, psy, your poor grasp of English has led you to gloss over the actual meaning of this thread and launch straight into troll mode.
Is it just questions you have difficulty with? You're Portuguese, right?
¿What if I start asking questions this way, would that help you to differentiate between questions and statements of fact?
Obviously, as a Bitcoin user, I'm concerned about high-profile early adopters being picked-off by criminal gangs of all stripes, even those masquerading as governments. I've been concerned about this since last year around this time, when LulzSec was busy hacking Bitcoin services under the direction of the FBI.
If nothing else, it affects Bitcoin's valuation.
And you should be concerned too, frankly. Though I'm pretty convinced that you're not an actual Bitcoin user anyways. So, proceed to troll, then, I guess.

McAfee Antivirus always struck me as the product of a deranged, criminal mind. Next will be Eugene Kaspersky killing Vladimir Putin His Kaspersky Internet Security suite also is deranged so must be Kaspersky himself. And Kaspersky's presentations in conferences and press releases are spreading only FUD among computer (L)users. And I forgot to mention Dr. Norton. Norton Antivirus is demented by lightyears. Killing some random person will be too small for Dr. Norton. He might attempt genocide to get proportions right.

Interesting interview in which McAfee claims to have been clean from drugs and alcohol for years, that Belize officials are trying to extort money from him, and that his posts on the Russian drug forum were obvious jokes about a mythical sex drug. Also, some very interesting discussion of the history of Belize, and pirates.

¿What if I start asking questions this way, would that help you to differentiate between questions and statements of fact? That would be Spanish... I don't care, McAfee anti-virus sucks anyways... It goes around disappearing your files without consulting the user first.

If I were CEO of Microsoft I would: - Fire almost everybody (because Microsoft's thinking is now archaic)
- Not have dinner with Bill Gates
- Tell content creators to find a new way to make money
What a peculiar person.

John sold his anti-virus company decades ago. Have to respect the man - he is onto other things, namely a "private" internet. C2C has an updated interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGsHpcEYg8IMcAfee was highly critical of the NSA spying program, which was revealed this past Summer, calling the practice "fundamentally wrong" and lamenting that "we have to have privacy to be human and we're losing that rapidly." Additionally, he warned that this surveillance is likely an even larger problem than the public knows because if the NSA is spying on people, then "so is the FBI, the CIA, the Secret Service, the Army Intelligence, they're all doing it." In response to the NSA spying, McAfee revealed that he has created a new company known as 'Future Tense,' which will feature a "completely secure network" that is fluid and ever-changing and, thus, "no one can tap into." However, he pointed out that the music industry has already decried his concept and "covert agencies" are not happy with his plans. Despite these challenges, McAfee declared that "I will build it and make it. and here his take on the Obamacare website mess: http://www.whoismcafee.com/john-mcafee-and-alex-jones-live-10-21-13/

I used to see that name and think 'firewall, security, anti-virus' Now it's 'murder, meth-head, wanted' Amazing how rapid technology changes these days.
