Looks like we just had a bubble. There also seem to be problems at OKCoin, which may have something to do with the bubble.

Apparently it recently became possible to directly send yuan to exchanges within China. This provided a way to get around China's exchange controls. The last bubble was driven by that, and ended when the People's Bank of China cracked down. This may have been a frantic effort to exploit a new loophole before the PBC closed it.

What we'd expect from that is heavy buying in yuan on China exchanges, followed shortly by heavy selling on dollar and euro exchanges.

No price will not go back to 250$ anymore.All this ups/downs are part of big game.I see some stability in range of 350-400 $ for a while.There will be new floor until next rise in price.We will not see under 300$ again.

It will definitely decrease now and it may reach $220 as well where it started off last year but soon it's going to increase again and then it will be the time to sell bitcoins when it rises above $400. It has been fluctuating between $350-$380 all day so I hope it stays at this price till the end of 2016.

According to the chart @xe, we didn't fall under 300$ during this week and I think that it will not happens on the next week.

I think $220 is so low, and won't really be reached now. $300 is a more realistic floor, when it goes below $250 I know there'll be a buying spree again pushing the price a bit up.

The price has been stable around this range for about a few days now, let's hope this has become the new home range.

Block halving is coming. For now 350 USD seems to be the place for buy support.

I will sell more if it stays there tomorrow. Only way to go will be check the 300 USD barrier.

I suspect we will go back to 200-230 within a week or so. That price seems fairly stable. Although we may fall under that to the 160-200 range for a while because of some panic.

I myself see the $160-200 as a buy range, and I suspect a lot of us see it like that too. So maybe, if the price falls to that range a massive buy would occur and push the price back up to $250. The way I see it, $220-250 could be the lowest possible floor - unless a huge bad news happen, like OKcoin going bankrupt.

support is holding very well. can't see the price dive below the $300 price level anymore. a lot people have bought their coins between $300-$400 so it doesn't really makes sense to go below $300.

No it won't drop back down to 250.. It won't just rise like it did and drop down just as fast. It'll prob stabilize above $300. Maybe even $325.

You can never say never in this economical environment we are currently in.
Would you be surprised if the price went down to sub $200 at this point? I wouldn't be as I have seen it before and it wouldn't be a shocker to most of the early adopters around here either. Most of them have seen everything when it comes to this highly volatile currency.

You got that right. The only way to second guess btc prices are to look for patterns and history has a habit of repeating itself.
