EVEN BITMAIN TECH DOESN'T RESPONSE

Send a letter  to info@bitmaintech.com

I sent a few days ago 3 x S7 blades to repair, but my blades all show  temp 0

I have sent them email few times in different time but they are not responding. That's very unfair

1) upgrade to the latest firmware.
2) Try another PSU
3) Check boards/Fans.

Hope it will help you.

How can I upgrade to latest firmware as I can't even access the machine through IP or LAN.
I have checked with several PSU as I got 22 Antminer s7 from first batch.
Fans and Boards seem to be working fine but can't access the machine as it doesn't connect to the LAN or doesn't assign the IP to access the interface.

Already sent an email to BITMAIN hope to have this solve soon

never never never never do firmware upgrades 80% of bitmaintechs  firmware upgrades were bad.

I would not even mess with updates unless there is a big security issue, or big feature addition.  It is just risk in most  cases for not much.  If it works why mess with it?

But phil is right never stop or close window during firmware update.  I have had one power issue on S3 during firmware ... and it made a brick.  Ever since then I'm very careful on updating.  I'm guessing they have you send in controller and they ship one back working.  Depends on if you have warranty still on the price.

So if you can not access to the miner and everything seems ok it means the control board has been broken.Well...But why? What is the reason?

Most common reason is problem with update.  If problem during it can make a brick.

So there is a reason.  I'm guessing they say send it in and send back one that has working firmware, or possible reprogram same unit and send it back.

I want to share my experience about S7 units not hashing. The problem is either BB or IO.Check the legs of IO.If all legs are ok (undeformed, check the IO with voltmeter). If everyting ok te problem is BB.Do not try to fix the BB but just buy another and replace.

OP take a step back and breath.  You have tested IO board, bb board, psu, so you have done a lot of the initial testing.  Send a email to address Tupsu mentioned.

You might not get a email back right away if they are busy.  If you don't get it in a few day's try again.  Make sure to include in email all that you have tried to show them what has not worked.

I have the same problem
 Huh Huh Huh Huh

I dont know what to do

Yesterday I've had found a problem with one of my miners (S7). It started to make a sound (internet connection problem, I supposed) but it was only one of my seven antminers, I thought "this is rare" so I enter in the interface and everything looks good and then I reboot the miner... The sound stop and in the interface everything looks good for the first minute and then the GH/s started to go down until 0 and the interface stayed forever thinking, they won't showed me nothing more, just thinking and thinking.
Things I've already checked:

1. I've changed the PSU, same problem.
2. I've changed the router, same problem.
3. I've changed the IP address, same problem.
4. I've changed the miner network from dhcp to static, same problem--> when I restart the miner it let me do some things until the GH/s arrive to 0, then I can't do anything. So I have to act quickly.
5. I've change the IP address reservation from my router, same problem.
6. I've changed the BB and IO board, same problem.
7. I've had made a few hard resets, same problem.
8. I've already sent an email to info@bitmaintech.com

I don't know what else to do.

Probably the problem is about your fans. One or two of them may be working not working or with lower performance.
Pls. check the fan speed with eye inspection.Switch fans with working miners. If not solved pls give feedback.

Serves you right for buying from a shady, sleezy characters at Bitmain. If you have a boat, use your non-working S7 as a boat anchor. I've done it myself and my boat feels less rocky.

I can attest to that,  your fans can cause your s7 miner to freak out.  Sometimes they may seem like they're working right but they're not.

Do an eye inspection to see if both are spinning at the same speeds and so check out the speeds in your miner status. They should be both at around the same speed which is >3000
