Hi there!
I'm looking to borrow $5 worth of Bitcoin.
I know I'm a newbie and most people don't trust me,
But I can provide 2 Netflix accounts as collateral. Each account sells for about $5.
No I do not have alt coins or any other form of collateral.
Please do not comment if you don't want to lend.
Thanks.
Peace.

The Netflix accounts that "sell for $5 each" are often hacked/cracked and as a result often quickly go bad causing the seller to either replace the accounts or decide to run and scam their customers.

Plus I am not sure what would stop you from reclaiming the Netflix account after you default on the loan.

Read the post again please.
I am not sure you understood the last three lines.
Also, these are my personal Netflix accounts.
I can prove myself through PM to anyone that wants.
I'm not being arrogant, please do not post if you are not making an offer.

You have two personal Netflix accounts? Roll Eyes

If I were to assume that this statement is true (it is not), then what would get you to continue to pay for the accounts that now belong to your lender?

If you are not able to offer some collateral that provides more security to any potential lender, then I would suggest locking this thread, otherwise you will likely receive negative trust to warn others against lending/doing business with you.

I'm not being arrogant but please do not post a loan request if you can't provide a valid collateral, especially when you are a newbie...
To know what could be consider as a valid collateral: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.msg6311902#msg6311902

Lol,
you know that you are newbie, and you know that newbie will cannot get loan without collateral.

I do not think other account except of bitcointalk can be collateral.

Just ask loan with your real account. Not from newbie like this and end up scam.

Generally the rule is "No collateral, No loan" and this is especially true for newer users around the forum. The collateral you have offered up is not valid collateral, because it is not secure or have clear value.

I would suggest closing this thread until you read the proper stickies about lending etiquette.
