Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling?

If I can quit my job and have a lot of bitcoin. I would just do gambling for a living.

Because is fun you will just sit in the casino or in your pc and just play some dice, roulette, poker or other games.

That will be a dream job.

Lol you just throw your all bitcoins for nothing if you do that. Living on gambling is just like throwing your life for nothing.
Gambling is a worst habbit than the drugs.. because it brings you difficulty in your life or you will be down for being rich..
So its not good to live in gambling.. you can only play it for fun..

gambling certainly isnt just a simple hobby for some professional poker players, to them, poker is a job, not a game or a simple hobby. the  mindset those people and most of the people on this forum have are complete polar opposites, and its a big part of what allows them to be successful at such a difficult game.

Don't choose any of these paths. Both are rather extreme. One is choosing an addiction to gambling over everything else. Which is fundamentally wrong to begin with.
And second one is picking hardcore way of living as professional gambler - which is not easy as it seems. I know some professional gamblers and believe me, you don't want to live like these men.

For me i don't take gambling seriously, because i rather not gamble with my life on the line! But i would like to entertain myself by make some money off gambling every now and then.

If any one gamble for living or living for gambling then they we be in a deep shit of problems because no one can win money from these gambling for long time. Unless some one gambling for time pass or just for fun for some times then that should be Ok but if any on take it as a profession then most likely they will end up in a deep shit. I usually bet on sports some times.

I like this post a lot. Trying to beat out a house edge is always mathematically impossible to do in the long run betting scheme. Just knowing when to stop if you hit a good run is supposed to be the "fun" and "thrilling" part of it. And yeah, sports betting just makes you enjoy a game a little bit more than you would if you haven't.

Not all people will be broke when they play gambling for living. There are some people that use this kind of method to live and got a family. It depends on how good you on managing your gambling method to profit. Sure you have loss sometimes but if you can manage well you will have enough eventhough for your family living cost

I'd rather choose gambling for fun to ease all of my stress rather than those 2 , i can't imagine myself feeding my family in gambling and also i don't think  that  living for gambling is a good idea.

Anyone who reads this try to watch "one outs" its an anime about a guy who is a gambler and the same time a baseball pitcher where they use the one outs system as there game. Until he was recruited by a baseball club and he uses his gambling style to carry his team to glory.

And yeah gambling for fun is always good, because you can be greedy but you jsut don't care about the money

Gambling is a hobby. I don't do it thinking I'm going to make a living out of it. Gives me the adrenaline rush that I like especially if in on a last leg of a big parlay.

Well, to tell you the truth,.
Theres a time that I do gambling for a living.
At first, i earn a lot daily. and then I stop gambling for a week,
because my winning is still enough for food and other needs of mine.
then after a week I started again.. hoping to earn more and more..
but even i win, im still not contented. thats why in the end.
i lose all my winnings and my capital.
After that I learned my lesson and now i just used gambling,
to have fun and if I win I will be lucky. If i lose. theres nothing new.

How few is your few? It is subjective to said few. Sometime people playing using few hours will still have winning profit and others playing not even an hours lose all of their balance right away. How are you going to explain this? Btw your saying doesnt make any sense though
