Neither of the definition is good, make gambling as a hobby and for fun purpose is good, spending too much time for gambling is going to ruin your life, there is no guarantee that you are going to win in gambling so gambling for a living sure is putting your life in jeopardize, so when you are losing then you wont have anything to left spend

There are a good number of people making a living through gambling and it is a really huge industry worth over a trillion dollar world wide and i have seen documentaries regarding whales who made millions only through gambling .So it is a real possibility to make a living through gambling.

It would be safe for you if you think gambling as an entertainment and that is just my suggestion. No doubt they can but the people you are referring are those who are really good in gambling and they are making fortune on it. We as typical gamblers does not have the same skills they have, it's a gift I guess because they are gifted with smart mind which are good in analysis.

Really, I am not also convinced on people telling gambling for fun,because its really a headache when we lose. But gambling should really only played for fun for us to have at least a reward to ourselves when we lose. But think of it we can enjoy without gambling but because we still thinking of earning that's why we still do gambling.
