I was thinking something like this:

--- Costs 1 bitcoin per game per person
--- Winner gets 1.8 bitcoins
--- Site keeps 0.2 bitcoins

If I code this, who wants to pay for web hosting and keep 50/50 (0.1 bitcoins per game)?

Send me a message if interested.

No one is going to pay that much. Checkers is not good to play for money either, it's pretty much solved and common programs can play very well.

Play Bitcoin Poker at sealswithclubs.eu. We're active and open to everyone.

who would pay 1btc (>$15) for one round? i think it would work better with something like 0.1btc or even 0.01btc.

Who is going to wager $20 / game on checkers?  Or any other board game for that matter?

You're better off building a Bitcoin online poker game.
