Hey bitcoiners,

i just opend up http://btcxc.info where im trying to establish a information site dedicated to everything about bitcoin trading.
whether it is a currency exchange, a option trading site or just useful informations about the current market situation - here you´ll find it all.

my idea is to have a site where all those infos are collected and sorted so everyone can have a quick overview and, if they want, a profound one too.

like a list of all currency exchange sites with additional informations about them.

but heres where the problems start: what informations should i include?
the current status is, as u can see here: http://btcxc.info/btcxc.html

-Traded currencies (is it a USD only site or does it trade in other currencies too?)
-Trading type (does it offer in-house trading, so every payment is managed via the exchange, or is it a simpler escrow service?)
-Trading fee (are there fees and if yes, how much?)
-Funding method(s) (how can u make your money available? maybe show fees for funding methods too?)

what would you change/add? any ideas what infos are needed for a options trading site?

id like to add a tust indicator too so that you can see if others recommend that service too, but how can i make sure its not abused?
and i think it would be great if the owners of these sites could contact me if ony of the stated infos are wrong or if they have any additions.

now its your turn to tell me what you would change and also what you like  Smiley
im looking forward to the feedback!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Ah, funding methods:

Send BTC to us. You can then convert via Mt. Gox for USD.

so trading at your site only takes part via BTC? and if i want to trade i have to send BTC to your site and you manage the payments (in-house) or do i have to manage the payment with the buyer/seller on my own and you just have the BTC (escrow)?

So, we escrow both sides, BTC and USD.

However, we don't (yet) accept USD receipts. So, to get USD, you must send us BTC, then exchange. We use Mt. Gox for the exchange.

So, you send, say 20 BTC. You trade 10 BTC for dollars, and get 180 USD. Your account with us has 10 BTC and 180 USD at that point.

We'll support sending USD out through Mt. Gox sometime soon, and may support receiving USD from them as well, I have to talk to Magical Tux about it, though.

At any rate, once your money is in, and you place an order, we lock the BTC or USD; you are not allowed to withdraw or spend until the contract is canceled or executed or expires. In that way, you should feel confident about any contract you purchase.

can anyone provide me any feedback pls? as of now i had almost 600 unique visitors but still no feedback...

what categories would you like to have in a BTC exchange comparison?
what exchange sites do u know that ive not listed yet?
can u make any additions to existing listings?
what do u think could be added to the site/useful in general?
do u think this idea in good/bad?

thx for helping me!

Hey w0mbat, I appreciated the listing. I think the question you need to answer is what people care about. There are a number of exchange-statistics sites already which provide the listings plus some data on what's happening. Check out some of their threads; I bet you'll find out more what people want and are excited about in this space.

Regards!

yeah, but they are not telling me that either. its not the problem that there maybe other/better sites.

its just kinda frustrating if u see that >250 user read this thread and, except u, no one responded. even to tell me that theres a similar/better side.
its hard to make the site any better w/o feedback.

btw. thanks for ur effort Smiley
