If I could make a suggestion, I would like to let you know that having a fixed price for something that is extremely flexible might not be in your best interested.
You should have a template, or some way of calculating how much a specific piece of writing would cost the customer.

For example, if someone wanted a 200-word article they're not going to want to pay the price of a 500-word article; or if someone wanted an article more than 500-words they're going to feel as though they have to find a new service-provider.

If you are flexible and want to reach a broader customer-base, you should try offering flexible prices for a flexible service.

Just my 2-cents.

If you're asking $10 for 500 words but you write at the quality that you gave in your OP, then I'm afraid you're unlikely to find much work. I type at a very high quality and I've charged less for writing 500 word articles before, so I think you may be over-valuing your skills here.

This is basically what I was getting at. I'm not trying to be rude or nit-picky, but offering up a couple examples of the work you have done in previous projects would be helpful.
Nobody has any idea the quality of writing that you can provide and we have to go off of is the OP you have laid out in front of us, which includes Typos, poor vocabulary and it shows a clear unwillingness to put forth effort towards your own endeavors.

Op, if you provide link to your previous articles or news about cryptocurrencies? If you worked with btcfeed, The Merkle, Coinfinance, Coinssource it will be really helpful for potential customers to see these articles.
I am sure you store link to your works for posterity and future reference.

10 USD an article is too much precious, either increase word limit or decrease the value of the blog article.

That might be a hell of a good or a golden article. I hope I can find someone also that would pay that much for just 500 words. It is not that easy but it can be done.

How do you write articles if you don't know what exclamation point should be written together with a word?

OK I'm taking everyone's advice on board and will be adding samples of a big bulk of my work in the op once I get back into my pc please bear in mind autocorrect on the phone isn't as accurate lol but my samples should be. I'm considering decreasing the price to 7 please let me know if that's a good idea... further more I might charge per word 5 cents a word. ..

$0.05 per word sounds pretty hefty if you ask me.. A 500-word article would be $25, and the average Joe types 60-WPM which is about $3.00 per minute.
Do you really think you're worth $180.00 an hour for your writing?

I appreciate that you've added samples to your OP, however your pricing is still extremely confusing to most people I'm sure.

Your OP says $10 for an article up to 500-words, but at $0.04 per word a 500-word article would cost $20. Please clarify for your potential clients Smiley

There you go! That's a much more agreeable price, and it at least coincides with your OP Wink
You are much more likely to get some business from people now, as they can take your more serious due to a little polishing on your presentation.

Good luck with sales!

He's writing, not transcribing. I type at 100 WPM but writing a 1000 word article can easily take me 3 to 5 hours, even longer with revisions. Writing about cryptocurrency involves a great deal of thought, research and fact-checking.

I wouldn't lower your prices, srgkrgkj, just keep improving your craft.

That's a very valid point, but I'm going to go ahead and say that as long as you are relatively knowledgeable in the field you're writing about you should be able to handle the task relatively easily.
I agree that higher quality would cost a higher premium, but I was mostly speculating about to OP and the price discrepancy throughout the thread. Tongue

I think that might be an issue with your research speed in that case, not necessarily your typing proficiency itself. I type at 130 WPM (which isn't actually that different) and typing a 1000 word article usually takes me 30-60 minutes. If you can maximise your google search query efficiency and also get proficient at skim-reading articles to pick out the perfect pieces of knowledge and information, your time per article should be drastically lowered.
