My Electrum wallet has been disconnected for quite quite few hours. Should I be concenrned or just wait it out?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

What do you mean disconnected? Have you tried resync?

The button in the lower right corner which shows green when connected is showing red.


I see no option to resync.

I went to the site and reinstalled. That worked.
