I sent them a message offering signature campaign management services for very fair prices ( I explained that I'd be doing it to clean up the forums rather than to earn some extra income) and never received a reply back from them. Don't think they care enough to put the effort in to hire someone dedicated to get rid of spam, but if it's an easy copy-paste to ban users like it is here they're willing to do that.

I am in.
Please pm me.
Thanks

Any one made a deposit and received 135% back here yet?

username: ilvbtc
Thanks for the daily promo.

Nice reward.
I'll take part and see how lucky I am.

Nice increase in reward.
I'll continue using it.

Your winbitcoin link doesn't work.
You need to check.

Site looks good.
But I'll wait for feedback.

Sometimes it's not necessary to post those 2 liners with just 9 words in it. There's no use for it for others that's why it's called spam.

Please clarify your word 'sometimes'?

Its clear .. Your Posts are very short and low quality and your posts have no weightage so its spam obviously and if you keep posting like that you will soon get all your answers with an action that is called "Ban evasion".
Then you will make a thread with new account similar like many others do that "u wont again do that and request to unban you and bla bla.."
So understand it now so that admins wont take action against you.
Hope you understood my english better.

So,that's(splitting one in to two sentences) ALL the criteria for the post to be called spam?

What 'high weightage' and ''high quality' do you find in this post of yours here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1186037.msg12917968#msg12917968?

That was sarcasm I forgot to add few elipses, just be constructive and post something about the topic to try to contribute to the thread since were looking at a list of spammers try to keep it limited to that.

Right now its time for a cleanup of the forum and from the activity here it seems more than a few users are glad to see it coming, ajrah posted enough examples of your poor quality posts and how the responses your making are very short and don't need splitting, a few are fine if it really only takes a few words to get your point across but making a constant habit out of it in every giveaway thread etc puts you at high risk of just being considered a spammer.
I understand.
Should/can we make lengthy, constructive post every time even in the non demanding contexts, specially in games and rounds section where you just need to post your username most of the time?

No, adding a sentence that is not saying anything to your post is not increasing the quality of the post. There are threads where its not possible to post constructive, like give aways or "what did you drink today". I also think one should not expect a discussion when entering such a thread.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

The main issue in my opinion is balancing the amount of posts in those types threads a user that posts exclusively in those threads are not really adding any content or quality posts to the forum most campaigns exclude those sections as a what did you drink today post in off-topic doesn't really merit much discussion or a giveaway in investor based games, on the other hand while discussing your personal preference of a Bitcoin wallet a bit of good discussion can occur as people prefer different ways of storing their coins.

The problem in my opinion is if the majority of a users posts are in the former type of threads then they would be spamming even if it is one of those type of threads that is non demanding.

But I don't see any such restrictive exclusions on yobit campaign page.

Actually what most of the campaigners expect,I think,is that their promoters to be 'seen' in the relevant sections of the forum like games and rounds, investor based games with their signatures.

But how far the relevant section threads are in need of constructive, lengthy posts ?
Most of the threads need just usernames or just our 'two cents'.
And I appreciate yobit campaign/er for being genuine in this respect and not imposing any restrictions unlike many other campaigns.

And my first question in this thread was actually meant for XinXan as to what exactly prompted him to put me on the 'hit list' without taking all these things in to account.
I was wondering if he really expected highly constructive and lengthy posts in the relevant sections from me before he put me on the list.

its just simple, your posts on the games and rounds and investor based games are not constructive and not really helping the discussion, just dont forget this is a discussion forum and not a giveaway forum tho

Really this Topic is now going off....
So much nuisance is created just for one user?
I suggest To OP that he should LOCK THIS THREAD and only unlock it when he wants to add more spammers (For Editing ) then again lock it..
This thread should be for information purposes only not for discussion ..

This -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1090962.msg12995337#msg12995337

is harmless, easy to find and not a problem. At least in my opinion.

I agree with what you said Shorena, that said the list users have complied so far is mainly individuals with most of their posts being one liners and located in off-topic and games and rounds and are singled out for that in the descriptions i'll call those type of posters recreational posters as well.

Example: This person just posted their username and guessed the price of something but did not really add any content etc. (Banned) The problem is if recreational posting is all they do then it is spam and looking back a few pages you can see the pattern.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=532293;sa=showPosts

That said posting bad advice in Project Development and Technical Discussion is definitely not harmless and can cause problems if the advice is misinforming and misleading and that is important to note, although in those cases I generally would look into if they were making an honest mistake and in need of correction or just padding to their post count there are some good newbies there but there are definitely bad seeds among them as well.

The point you mentioned is that their is a difference in how people view spam, the tendency of the forum is to look closely towards the recreational spam as it is an obvious type of bloat and less on the subliminal type like the post you linked which might require people to pay more attention although they are a big problem, that said both posts are spam in my opinion but one is easier to see than the other with a casual glance and look at post statistics.

That said there are cases where the persons posts may look like Spam but are on topic example people who only are posting bids in Auction threads but for the most part you don't see to many of those but it's up to people to scrutineer those type of posters before listing them.

I'll pick on Kolloh as an example since that's a name I recognize from luckyb.it as a regular user, the posts may be short but reading the context and areas of the forum they are in they aren't that bad however they would still end up on some peoples lists such as guitarplinker as they met his criteria of spam.

Reading back a few pages in posts you see there not all shit or else Stingleword would not have added the user to luckyb.its campaign when it was still running however if you look at a users most recent page or the length of an average post a person may end up with a different conclusion or opinion, example a warning vs a perma ban etc.

That is one of the issues with yobit paying for all the topics it gives its members more freedom but at the same time users do not like seeing the spam spread to different areas of the forum, recreational spam tends to spread to other sub boards like services D@T etc, and looking through the thread yobit is now banning users from the campaign if they are purely recreational posters like Shorena mentioned or making crap posts in other sections.

As for why XinXan added you well he will need to respond, but in my opinion as Shorena and others have put it most if not all of your posts were that of a recreational poster and not really adding content in general to the forum, even if they were correct for the type of thread you posted in it is frowned upon if that is all the user does, not taking into account that most of your posts in general were short in length. As mark mentioned Bitcointalk is a forum for discussion and not a giveaway talk so its important to do both.

Really this Topic is now going off....
So much nuisance is created just for one user?
I suggest To OP that he should LOCK THIS THREAD and only unlock it when he wants to add more spammers (For Editing ) then again lock it..
This thread should be for information purposes only not for discussion ..

Your right, that said it's important to explain to users who are spamming where they are making mistakes if they ask.
I'll stop discussing this as well I feel like the point has got across with the help of others to explain their criteria for being added to the list.

*Deleted a Post so that the thread will start clean on the next page this is a long blurb apologies for anyone who gets confused by the quote links
