Hallelujah , the rule is finally created for offtopic board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1332924.0
We should see a decline in yobit spamers
so, for this case, I got a question: if the off-topic session is now forbidding the zero value posts, then why signature campaign isn't counting the posts on off-topic? second is, some of the posts seems not to be zero value because they are actually forum-based games such as "word game" made by smoothie.

What subs signature campaigns pay for has nothing to do with staff and that's up to the campaigns themselves to decide what are where they're going to pay for but most of the problems in off topic are not from sig spammers but account farmers lazily posting shit to rank up their accounts. And that word game is one of the prime examples of a shit thread. You literally just copy the post above yours and add a word. Both pointless and worthless.

although this could help preventing the spams, it crushes some of the 'culture' in the off-topic, such as forum games as told, they are supposed to be in the "games and rounds" but just locked instead; you know that session gives people to play the 'games'.

The culture of shitposting has got to stop. Just because it's off topic doesn't make it ok to spam abolsute drivel in there.

beg your pardon, but what your way to say this kind of shit thread is not that acceptable.
this act may still not be able to control majority of the spammers, but it could become an excuse to ban the scam; using investor-based games session as an example, some of the accounts created just to announce that ponzi, but the accounts could be come from the same person; although they often do some referral spam, the main point is those 'games' are not constructive to the bitcoin forum - something you need to understand.

No, shitposting isn't acceptable. I don't quite understand the rest of what you are trying to say but it's not going to be used as 'an excuse to ban the scam'. It's enforcing the already existing rule of No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads' which has been lax and as such has gotten out of control in off topic. Games and rounds is a different subject all together.

It seems every accounts reported have been banned. It's good for community but I'm a little worried about users leaving this forum as we can see fewer and fewer discussion on the forum, the low quality discussion though.

I'm not seeing any big difference. and the stats don't show any noticeable decrease of daily post count either.

though I doubt that the users that got reported here actually contribute in discussions.
plus, not all of them got perma-banned. they'll still get their 2nd, or probably 3rd, chance.

I dont know if hilariousandco had noticed my pm or not so let me post here again.

I just want to mention that this user (zodiac3011 > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=221888) is just posting on YoBit's signature campaign thread and all his posts aren't even constructive.

Just look at his post history (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=221888;sa=showPosts) and you'll notice 90% of his posts are one liner trolls and are mostly on the signature campaign thread.

@hilariousandco also can you help me why am I shown not active on https://yobit.net/en/signature ?
Is my signature not correct?

Seems constructive enough to me, posts don't have to be 10 liners to be useful .

Posting 90% on campaign thread seems constructive?

Also most of the comments on campaign threads are related to YoBit's discussion in general and not related to signature campaign.

Sticking to particular section or a thread and commenting or replying isn't a part of unconstructiveThere are many users who have their particular different alt. to post in different section or thread.

If a reply is not related or goes too much off from the topic then it is UNCONSTRUCTIVE.

It also took me sometime to understand that..If i am wrong here please correct me and will be happy to learn more.

A post will be constructive even if the user hacks his neighbors wifi connection and makes a ban appeal in the forum ad-auction thread while shitting in the bathroom. What connection does any thread has over post being constructive or not, or do you mean off-topic ?

Hey guys, does this count as spamming or is it considered okay? It'd odd - I looked at the user's old posts and back in 2014 he was talking almost exclusively about mining and now it's all this kind of posts

-snip-
I tried bit coin chain and found its working well all right but its good to discuss on the forum here to get to know more information about bit coins wallets performances and for further guidance to all friends.

-snip-
I do agree that people laugh only when they don't understand properly the fact of some plan and other than that are the previous fortune programmes who created negative image in minds of all as well might be another reason for them to laugh.

-snip-
I have no idea why an individual intends to use more wallets but for me its quite safer and beneficial to use several wallets to increase more chances of earning and for growth of our finances and frankly speaking its more safer to avoid any kind of hacking or password theft issues in case we own several wallets. to me its is a good thing to do .

Yeah I still believe that Bit coin would increase and would prefer to wait till it increases again and make me good profit some how no
-snip-

Yes I still believe that Bit coin price will increase no matter when...sooner or later it does not matter to me but I would prefer to wait until it might increase to a good price to make me happier.

-snip-
I do agree with same that banks are quite stronger at the moment right now to affect bit coin instead of BTC might affect the banks. Banks are ruling at the moment and it may take long time for BTC to be popular to keep banks behind as second option.

-snip-
As far as I know these days farming countries are not that rich economically as compared to those who are relying on their industry and inorganic products. Mining might be good in china since china is affordable for every thing including farming as well but bitcoin is much better paid off than farming or mining.

Mr. Donald trump is some how interesting candidate and talk more about facts and figures and tries to accommodate people by explaining bout public rights and benefits.

it is quite confusing since we already have Bit message then why to go for mailing list and it does not make any proper sense to some of us so I need to get full clarification about this.

-snip-
Dreams are unlimited and same are the wishes and desires as well. As more we earn more wishes increase and i same way have lot of wishes to buy every thing with bitcoins and wish to find in malls bitcoins accepted here logos and pray it might become world currency very soon.

Quite similarly, this guy and this guy.

Also came across this user. This kind of quality posting rubs me the wrong way

Have you already searched on pages like bitpages.co or whotakescoin.com?
They are listing a good range of Bitcoin-related and -accepting sites.

your quote has provided good information about the bitcoin related listing. I have never used any websites accepting bitcoins. With this suggestion I can have a try. You know anything about the charges levied for transaction.

Wow, what a pantload of ass ^^^ is (the herman guy, in case his post gets deleted).  You'd think with post quality that shitty he'd want to fly under the radar and not drool as hard as he can against his accusers, but there you have it.  Why people with no grasp of the X language feel confident posting in X is beyond me.  It'd be like me trying to post in the French local board.  I'd get a bunch of pissed off Frenchmen and then it'd be on.

Yeah udet4food, you should mind your own business. I have looked at hermanhs09's posts in the What happens if the bitcoin disappear ? thread and they are all very informative and well-written.

what happens if the next 10 years, bitcoin disappeared and worthless?

yes, hopefully not happen, hopefully bitcoin further rise in price  Grin

I know, you are afraid of losing bitcoin

I know, you are afraid of losing bitcoin
We are all afraid of losing our coins.
Also what about invested time and effort here and learning new stuff mining, blockchain..
That would be a real catastrophe!

all can happen, in this world nothing is impossible  Grin

but we all hope it will not happen

if bitcoin disappears, we all lose jobs

good answer  Grin

good answer  Grin

bitcoin hopefully survive until Judgment  Grin

what happens if the next 10 years, bitcoin disappeared and worthless?

There is no reason it to disappear like lots of payment processor disappear like liberty as bitcoin is more than payment processor only. It is a technology and technology never dies, however we can't predict what will be the value of bitcoin after 10 years.

10 years in the future, it might be more beautiful

bitcoin hopefully survive until Judgment  Grin
haha lol it's too much. I think bitcoin can survive if there are many people who use bitcoin. see bitcoin growing number of users, I think bitcoin it will last very long

each state may not prohibit the use bitcoin, and not illegal in the country eraser

I don't think it can disappear, it's value can decrease if the demand is lower than now but bitcoin will most likely maintain it's presence like now... it cover a need for people and therefore it will maintain some presence IMO.
all could happen, only God knows

if there is something better than btc then it would be normal, people would just need to move to the next big thing and this forum would too. if there is nothing better then btc would still be here

bitcoin will last until Judgement
