Nov 11th 2015 – After 25Million Tokens were distributed, the original ETHER Token was censored from the Ethereum Subreddit. Evidently, token names must receive some kind of approval? Are you really free to create any contract on the Ethereum blockchain? Are Ethereum contracts truly immutable and free from censorship as advertised? Will measures to be in place to prevent certain contracts like a blockchain version of (SOPA)? Time will only tell if this Blockchain based protocol is truly free from control of a centralized authority.

Not at all. ETHER Tokens are commemorative collector units created as a contract on the Ethereum blockchain. They are not real Ether (the smart contact fuel). However can be exchanged for other tokens or given away.
