I got f..ed by cryptsy's crappy trading interface back in 2014 when my order got stuck there and it just didnt let me sell my coins at the peak. I incurred a loss of about 3 BTC I never got back, even though I took snapshoots and a video of the incident. Of course their "customer service" also never replied.

I never used that site again. As long as I am not receiving my money back I feel free to say they are a 100% scam.

RE: Coinfire

I feel I need to give a response to the recent Coinfire article.   Like their previous article, they’ve make a lot of claims without giving any kind of proof to their claims.   I know many people don’t take coinfire very seriously these days, which is good.   However there are some out there that may not really know that the kind of “News” these guys produce is not always reliable.

We have never been investigated for anything, period.  We have never gotten any letters from any of the agencies that they have stated in their article, nor have we been contacted via phone or any other method.  It’s safe to say that this article and their reporting are completely false.   My guess is that whomever wrote this article has personal reasons for writing it and are attempting to hurt our business and reputation.

We will be reviewing our legal options against this libelous article.

so why so many locked cryptsy threads.  are they dead and threatening posters.  what is going on?  I hope the SEC docs on cryptsy get posted, this exchange needs to die soon.  BigVern can show Josh Garza how big he really is when they share a cell together.

They won't gox us, because big vern is not a man like that. They have some real issues, also with funds but they will overcome it.

Remember so far nobody complained about missing funds etc.

Don't underestimate the the power of greedy and losing everything you have built.  BigVern is an ego and he will do everything he can to survive  even if it means pocket away some traders money.

It would make no sense for them to leave their users.
Everybody knows their boss (BIG VERN), do you really think he can run away? The police would find him within 24 hours

Ok so withdraws don't  seem to be working. There is a lack of communications from support they are not responding to emails.
Their phone lines are dead. Project Investors Inc. (888) 963-9935 Delray Beach, FL. Seems that we are getting screwed at this point thank god i dont send all my coins there but my sold coins or USD are stuck in withdraw since Dec. 29. I been working hard so i haven't withdrew hoping to use this as vacation money now on vacation and pissed off the charts. Im in flordia and debating if it would be worth it to drive to their place of business. I wonder if this has something to do with the regulations that New York passed leaving NY bit-nodes to be blacklisted by some and business to close up shop in that area. I'm leaving this as a resent account for people wondering WTF because there is a lack of info on this topic.
recent complaint ticket #250150 Jan 8

usually they respond within 48 hours
withdraw of funds requested on 12/29/15

UPDATE:1/14/16
Well support ended up cancelling my request to withdraw my usd funds. They gave no explanation to why?  But on cryptsy sight today on 1/14/16 they have promised to release more info on what has been going on over the last couple of months. As well as warning of phishing attacks on customers. They also suspended all withdraws probably to prevent bank runs and a downfall of the site <(my opinion). This maybe seen as a good thing they way want to save cryptsy. But until i hear more im not going to panic like the rest. I have about 1600$ on this exchange alone.

It looks very bad from my end.
I have like 0.3BTC on Crpytsy and trying to wd it per 0.05 week now.
All wd are "confirmed" but "pending".
There is no response on ticket system at all

My ticket is "reported 7 days ago" - zero answers, it was once closed and reopened after my next message, to it is "Being Processed since 3 days 1 hours".

My 1st wd
"BitCoin 0.05125628 BTC   Yes   2016-01-04 13:22:42 Pending"

I got the same problem with a 0.4 BTC withdrawal.
They also closed my ticket but had it reopened. Not sure what is happening there.

I think panic is starting to set in. There's a run on the bank! Super laggy and because everybody else is rushing to the lifeboats. And I'm being told I need to be verified to up my withdrawal amount. Didn't even withdraw .05 btc worth of alts!

Reducing costs that could be, if the landlord said it was unpaid then thats something else.  Its easy for scaremongering, hopefully they'll provide some information or timescale to get past the problem but people are prone to just jump to the worst conclusion which I cant blame them for but doesnt mean thats true either
