It would appear that you have not found any shares, and therefore have not earned any Bitcoin.

It also appears from the screen shot that your current hash rate is 0, and your previous 15 minute rate was 950 hash/sec. That is not a lot of hashing power, and will take a long time before a share will be found.

We do, however, pay out. We do our payouts every week and our pending balance does get updated.

If you can send me some more information (even PM me if you'd like), I can look into it a little deeper. But, on the surface, it just doesn't look like you have enough site traffic to produce a sizable hash rate.

Unlike an actual pool, however, we opted to only disburse BTC once a week, so your balance will only increase once a week on Saturdays. This is mostly because web mining as a whole is just too slow to justify real-time updates to balance.

Yes, we are paying. We pay our Javascript miners once per week.

Just for full disclosure, Javascript is really slow at mining bitcoins. We pay every week, and at most we've only ever sent payments to 3 people. Most people never find a single share. If that is the case, the BTC earned will (rightfully) display zero.

It's for this reason that we've spent a lot of energy this past week on something a little different  =>  http://bitp.it/beta

sry for being slightly offtopic, but @bitp.it staff, have you ever considered using a flash miner? that should greatly increase the computing power behind.

Even without a flash miner the mining performance could be increased by up to 1000% by using a more clever js algorithm.
I've got a proof of concept running here at 26khash/s vs. ~2.6khash/s that bitp.it currently gets in FF4, similar results in other browsers.

I just had a quick try with Actionscript, and it seems to be even slower than Javascript. (Getting 3.4KHash/s on a Core i7 620M compared to 15-30KHash/s in FF4)

Just got 50KHash/s in Firefox 4.0.1, DOM worker mode on a Core i7 620M. The bitp.it frontpage gets like 2.3KHash/s.

Firefox 4.0.1, DOM worker: 50KHash/s
Firefox 4.0.1, UI thread: 20KHash/s (but only 15% CPU load due to 30 milliseconds of delay after every 1024 hashes)
IE 9.0.8112.16421, DOM worker: 13KHash/s (possibly no DOM worker support, so falling back to UI thread?)
IE 9.0.8112.16421, UI thread: 13KHash/s
Chrome 13.0.742.91, DOM worker: 12-81KHash/s (swinging badly, no idea why)
Chrome 13.0.742.91, UI thread: 9KHash/s

So every single result is better than what bitp.it currently gets, and Firefox even gets 2000% performance consistently!

But if you aren't going to publish it, either free or for sale, then I really can't know how well it'll run on my machine, can I?

I find it highly intriguing that some of you are able to increase the performance of Javascript bitcoin mining. The source code is 100% open source, and a pull request would be highly appreciated. The URL for the github repo is https://github.com/jwhitehorn/jsMiner.

Now, back to the subject at hand....

No offense, but I think the issue at had as been addressed. I would kindly appreciate the discussion be limited to the subject at hand, especially in a thread (who's title) seemingly accuses bitp.it of not paying people.

As has been said, the jsMiners only get paid weekly. The BTC earned is therefore only updated weekly.
