HDD is more durable than SSD, my laptop uses HDD and since 2011, every single GB's works without any problem.  Smiley
what is your thoughts?

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason

Why not have both in your comp lol.  I use an SSD for my OS and put stuff I don't want to lose on the HDD, well that and like 5 usbs and external drives.. lol.

SSD is insanely faster than HDD.

SSD is much faster than an HDD. Since it doesn't have any moving parts at all, I would think that it is more durable than an HDD. What do you mean that your HDD is more durable than an SSD? Have you tested two before?

I just put a SSD into my laptop for the first time. It is super fast for retrieving files, almost instant whereas with a HDD it takes a few seconds. I can't say I find the OS much faster to respond.

I bought some old laptops and all of their HDDs have been having problems so they're not completely dependable either over the long run. I think it'll take a while to know how reliable SSDs are as they've only recently become properly affordable.

yet the SSD price is explicitly crashing within 2 years, from $.59 to $.37 per GB in average, sourced in wikipedia.

fact: speed of SSD decreases as the longer usage period, the the memory block has a limited writing cycles; instead, HDD speed does not degrade as fast as SSD.

This is like saying a cheeta slows down as it gets older but a turtle always moves at the same pace.

Ya sure okay you're right, but the cheeta is always faster whats your point.

SSD > HDD. The end.

SSD consumes way less power.

SSD has a way lower seek time.

SSD is better in every aspect except for price.

Hell, it's even more durable than an HDD. It can withstand something like 1500G as opposed to an HDD which freaks out by like 10G of force.

If we are going to talk about speed, reliability and overall performance SSD is way so much better than HDD.
