Google offers a lot of tutorials how to set up most of the existing free faucet scripts.
Here is also a good video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjFXSddpY6o

Presuming your not somebody that likes to think in binary and has coding dreams you might want to check out faucetbox

*They've been around for quite awhile and currently have >600 bitcoin faucets currently using it.

First of all OP thanks for asking the question because I was thinking about starting a faucet as well just as something to send my friends and be like hey look at the site I created that gives you free money and just for kicks and grins.

>< Secondly, just b/c I feel like being that guy they claim on the site over 1000 faucets are currently using it ><. I used faucetbox almost everyday and never noticed they had that on their site  Angry Undecided Embarrassed

That is a great site to begin with. much appreciated!Unfortunately I haven't any coding skills, so it will be pretty difficult to set it all up by myself. even so I'm willing to give it a try!

Faucet in a box got all the infomations you want and a in-depth tutorial which is really easy to understand! you don't need to know how to code! they even prepare for you many ad spaces so that you can display ad too! just create a SQL Database, create table, account, password, then edit the config.php in the script (really easy Grin ) then upload all to public_html. Then go to your website and you will know what to do by then Grin

I started a tutorial but stopped working on it for some reasons

http://myownbitcoinfaucet.website/index.php

I guess most of the information in there is still valid.

Tell me what you think..

I think this is not really done how about blocking proxy or bots?
I just try to access the site with proxy and i can access it with tor and proxy...
Try to protect your site from blocking ips on tor and anonymous proxy....
