Did anyone see this coming?(rumors or anything?) Cuz, I had no idea.
It was leaked (but not by name) in September: BitPay is also in early discussions with three of the top 25 websites ranked by Alexa, which are testing BitPay's systems, he said.

and keep some of the bitcoins +1 excellent point on not pushing those BTC right back into the banking system...that's the real inflection point and when you'll know that the train has left the station...I do applaud WordPress for a stellar business move (Congrats to Tony G. too). |

On thing I just now realized by reading Worpress comments, is that this also enables a whole new way for bloggers to fund their blogging.
Accepting Bitcoin donations directly in their blog and use them to fund their blog.

I just dropped WordPress on my useless site http://we.lovebitco.in - as a webmaster I would say it's the worst of content management systems (I need to edit template files to disable comments??) and only have one client with it still, who basically uses a theme's front page and nothing else, but if you want a blog that works and looks like every other WordPress site it's pretty slick. |
