Films about bitcoin have to be released within the last 5-6 months to stay relevant because it changes so frequently that the facts would need to be up to date.
The Phenomenon film is more like a 30 minute long interview not really a movie as we would expect it to be. In regards to length and footage that documentaries usually have within a 1.5-2 hour feature film.

after seeing so many replys and most of the replys relate to two movie which is fully about bitcoin, i think today i am going to watch this movies and come back with feed back. thanks for the info on movies and tys for creating this thread.

I don't really know any full films about Bitcoin. But I do know of a couple short movies/films that are pretty good. Personally, I really like "Finding Satoshi Nakamoto". It is extremely humorous and informative.

not so well known, this is actually a very good promotion

I think you should watch The Rise and Rise of Bitcoins on youtube as it will give the clear picture of what bitcoins is all about and it would be the best documentary for a newbie who wants to learn about the bitcoins and wants to get into bitcoins and I assure that documentary would be a learning experience for you as it also focuses on technical aspects of bitcoins. |

We need films mainly about bitcoins. But we also need many films to show that the characters in the film mention about bitcoins or they can use bitcoin to purchase a cup of coffee in a local shop or do on line shopping with bitcoin. These kind of scenes can be shown in many films. So the advertisement can reach more people.

I recently watched "Dope" - It's not a documentary , but a drug dealing related movie. The main star in a movie uses bitcoin to charge people for drugs.
They kind of used the silk road as inspiration a bit. The movie doesn't mention bitcoin too many times, but since it's a good and watched movie- i guess it brought us some new supporters.
I would definitely recommend you to watch it.

When there is only 1 be the best is easy, but still a good movie that is worth to see

Good movie worth a watch. The movie mentions bitcoin in the first line of the movie! And then it goes over some additional references later on. Mostly silk road references and not many details on exchanges as would be expected for a block buster. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3850214/ |

I think there is also another one that talks about bitcoin but it is actualy about the Deep web and Ross Ulbricht, I can't remember the name!
Can you please share the links to such pieces so people can have a good watch to these clips. I have seen the rise and rise of bitcoin quite a few times. It really gives you some vivid dreams to become rich with bitcoins. |

Finally they mentioned crypto currencies in Arrow, I'm something else, I'm the green arrow, lol they even talked about how difficult it is to trace crypto currencies transactions, but they were the best hackers in the world and they managed to find a Russian mob. season 6, episode 2.
Is there any porn about Bitcoin? if there is no porn then I might make one. no lol.

I suppose there are some good reasons to revive old threads, but I'm surprised no one has mentioned "Life on Bitcoin". We've got all the documentaries, we've even got a pop culture film (Dope), but what about actual people documenting their decision to live on Bitcoin? About a couple who started a Kickstarter campaign four years ago, shortly after getting married, to film a full-length feature film on ... their life on Bitcoin. Have fun, it's pretty cringeworthy!
