Hello ,

I have experience of 2.5 years in the 3D printing world.
I would like to offer my 3D Printing services ,in exchange for Bitcoins .
I will charge for the printing material (I can determine the exact weight before printing the model).

Materials & Prices :

PLA - (1gr / 0.020  BTC) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioplastic#Polylactic_acid_.28PLA.29
ABS - (1gr / 0.030 BTC)  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acrylonitrile_butadiene_styrene
Nylon (Taulman) - (1gr / 0.040  BTC) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nylon
PLA - Stainless Steel infilled (Proto-Pasta) - (1gr / 0.06  BTC) - http://www.proto-pasta.com/pages/stainless-steel-pla

- Compare Materials

The Quality (resolution) of the printing is very high (0.01mm per layer).

With the right properties and dimensions ,i can print anything you want.

Also it can be printed using different materials ,so the model will fit to your needs ,
(For example ABS is stronger than PLA and its more resisting to heat,Nylon is Stronger than both of them ,and also its more elastic)

You're definitely offering the services for quite reasonable prices .However ,the final outcome of the product would be a functional one or just a 3d model print of it ? A I have seen the 3d printers can only replicate the model ,is there any chance its fully functional?

I can't understand your question ,what do you mean by "functional" ?

Like this for example ?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDSo4UnSCKY

You must brake it in order to split it into parts ,and its rotating and functioning as it should .
Your model wont work if any additional electric assembly or anything like that is required ,you will have to get it yourself (for example a DC motor for a remote car ,you will just get the body of it).
I actually can print the motor ,but it wont be functional .

Or you can print any part separated ,and assemble it .
Like this guy did : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IylGx-48TUI

And no ,i won't print this kind of stuff ,don't even ask me.

I find that your prices are quite expensive. 10 grams of PLA cost 0,25BTC, or 81,79$ !!! 1 gram alone costs 8,18$ ! That's the price of Marijuana. When you'll sell plastic at the price of drug, you won't get a lot of clients...

Terrific service for the bitcoin community. Metal material is cool, i didn't know these printers can do these, just plastic.
I think price will come down in time since it is a new service offered here. With the clientele increase costs will decrease.

It still have a lot to do regarding the price. If you order just 40 grams, which is nothing, you have better time to buy a whole 3D printer...

You can't really get that quality of printing using a $500-1,000 desktop printer ,
The second thing is that the materials are Very lightweight!

Here is an example :

http://3dprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_6271_preview_featured.jpg

I have lowered the prices as requested.

How does this work?
I'm looking for a scale model of an Offshore Platform but unfortunately I can't find anything so I'm considering a 3D printed one
But my concern is how is this going to work when you finished the scale model?
You ship this to my country from yours?
How about escrow, is that going to be ok with you?

I will print your model ,send you a few photos ,
You will confirm that you like the print ,and it looks good .

Then you will send me your address ,and the Bitcoins .
And i will ship your order using recorded mail service ,and send you the tracking number.

Also we can use escrow Smiley
You will have to send the payment to the escrow before i will start printing anything.
You can pick any well known escrow service provider/member.

Also it may take a few days to print a fine quality large prints! (depends on the model size / infill % / layer-height ,etc..)
You think that you'r paying for the material itself ? just go and order the filament and one of those desktop printers on ebay ,and try it out Smiley.
