I don't want to curb your enthusiasm, but what is your intention building a new coin? In a world with Ethereum and Nxt in it (to only name two Bitcoin 2.0 projects), what functions do you have in mind which would make your coin superior to the coins already out there? Or is it only a study project for you?

Why C#?

You don't want Linux users? Well, there is Mono, but still.

There is more than mono, read this: http://www.redhat.com/en/about/press-releases/microsoft-and-red-hat-deliver-new-standard-enterprise-cloud-experiences
