Are we now in "the" historical wave or not? What do you say to the latest price movements?

Your wise advise is needed!

Why do you need masterluc?

Let's look at some basic TA like the 1week EMA on a logarithmic scale on bitcoinwisdom....
Then ask yourself, where does this look like it's going...  Roll Eyes

This is the third time a crossing has happened and 50% of the time it has gone ballistic. So we are either in for a ride or it will end up going sidewaysish.

In 6 weeks we will know if history repeats itself. So January will be promising.

50% of the time in two cases is not real convincing. Could be due to luck with such a small sample size...

Doesn't mean I don't agree with you though Wink The line crossing is very exciting and I expect it to run its course in full!

I agree that having three crossings isn't a statistically convincing population Cheesy

The crossover is a lagging indicator. In May/June 2014, the move to the upside was nearly completely done by the time it crossed over. If this cross is like that cross, then there's no more upside.

If the crossover is like Autumn 2013, then we have an amazing run ahead. As someone said, we will know within a few more months.

If you can find something "historical" at the last events with the price of bitcoin, that mean that you are as new in understanding it as you are even here in bitcointalk. Bitcoin is yet a child, little child, it is known yes or not by much, much less of 1% of the population of the world and you call or mention at your post if an rise of its price (and then the drop of it) can be called "historical"? The story of bitcoin is yet at the early beginnings my friend. There is much, much more to write in this story. And the last event will have not any sign in this story. It will not be named at all. Read more about it and try to understand what mean its invention and is the desire and the aim of all the bitcoiners. Learn about the qualities of the technology from which it is created and what it is unique on it. Then maybe will be able to understand what does it mean to name historical some event connected with it.

lamb_crotch, you've been ignored for the whatever timeth but to those that are curious, Luc is MIA and gone and won't be here to give you free trading advice. Your choices are to buy and hold or venture your trades on your own in this current bull market. If newbs still feel the need to comment and spread an opinion, then the onlookers should know what's up. Don't sell in a bull market unless you know how to do it. The V term is only for the pros. You will only lose, fact. So hold is your best option when the market is gonna go up over time. But, go ahead and sell into their walls.

Did you buy at $600 last year? Then, now is the buying time if you didn't do so in months past. Many interesting opportunities are coming this next year for those that have held. Don't trade the bull run of epic proportions unless you have the scoop on it. Dear Lord, don't do it.
