Don't really get it what exactly are you trying to question, but Bitcoin use is frowned upon on several countries do to it's volatile nature and because it represents a threat to governments... Also, wrong section, this should probably be on Discussion

I have seen a map showing in which countries is legal and illegal to use bitcoin. I think that the countries that do not allow bitcoin is maybe that they hear bad news for bitcoin. And as we know sadly a good percentage of bitcoin is being used in black markets and that could be the reason.

On my country, bitcoin doesn't have law but still illegal so it means that I'm using bitcoin will my own responsibility. I think goverment thinks that bitcoin can't be own since we as user hold it's private key or bitcoin provide anonymous transaction , that's why some countries ban bitcoin

A lot of counties see Bitcoin as the ultimate money laundering tool. If more and more people keep getting aware of its existence, they may all start working for Bitcoin under the table to not report any taxes, but for this more merchants would need to arise.

BItcoin works anonymously which create two problems: 1. Bitcoin transaction is untraceble which make it heaven for criminals (as government think). 2. As governement can't track who get funds they can't get tax on those transactions. There may be other reasons too.
But no any countries can't stop or shut down bitcoin network so that banned is only on doing exchange of bitcoin to local currency what i know till now.

Maybe because bitcoin is anonymous. They can use it in illegal work without trace. So I think it will be hard for them to catch those people who are not doing good who doesn't have any trace.

Even tho its true that no country can effectively ban Bitcoin and nodes will keep existing and the network working, it would be a devastating hit towards mainstream adoption, because the average joe still pays attention to the mainstream media.

Bitcoin cannot REALLY be banned, its P2P so they can't shut down one person and expect the whole network to go offline.

It is easy for them as they have the firewall in place already. It is impossible to block it completely but it can cause some inconvenience at the least.
